Bachelor’s Degree in market/business/franchise development qualification with a minimum of 7 years’ experience or more


The Business Development Director directs the business development activities of the organisation and drives the new sales business for the company playing key role in the company’s bottom line. Duties & Responsibilities: Strategy & New Business Development • Understand the development finance and overseas low-income housing market, and monitor the market for information and creative trends e.g. network with key industry influencers and stakeholders, attend functions and events, and monitor publications and research • Research and prospect for new investors to ensure a robust pipeline of engagements within the market • Build relationships with the decision makers within potential investor organisations • Plan deal approaches and pitches • Participate in the negotiation of terms and deal closing • Develop the systems and procedures to enable the effective execution of new business development Management • Manage programmes, projects and budgets • Monitor, analyse and forecast investment raising targets/progress against targets • Prepare analytical and performance reports as required for management and Board purposes • Ensure the efficient and effective administration of data and information relating to marketing • Prepare, negotiate and manage contracts related to the team, ensuring compliance with strategic objectives, internal policies and legal obligations • Identify, monitor and manage risks related to the team • Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer/investor needs • Manage investor relationships to ensure ongoing mutual benefit • Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs • Develop and inspire a team to implement the strategy and to achieve objectives and targets


• Bachelor's Degree in market/business/franchise development qualification. Master is most preferred • A minimum of 7 years experience or more • Excellent marketing strategy skills with a proven track record of success • Excellent prospecting, networking, persuasion, negotiation and closing skills • High level of computer literacy, including word-processing, spreadsheets, presentations, databases and the Internet • Highly numerate with strong ability in financial analysis, forecasting, project costing, and preparing and monitoring budgets • Fluent in English and Arabic
