The Tax Planning, Compliance & Control Assistant Manager is responsible for managing all financial accounting transactions in relation to the company’s Zakat and Tax transactions. ● Review tax risks and value-added opportunities, assess tax planning options, and propose practical solutions ● Review Tax, VAT, and Zakat reconciliation as well as Capital gain and other ● Supervise payments to GAZT where applicable and ensure compliance to avoid any additional fines or penalties ● Supervise the day-to-day activities and operations of employees and ensures their adherence to the guidelines and responsibilities assigned to them.
Education: ● Bachelor’s degree in finance / Accounting; and a Master's degree is a plus. ● Professional Certification (i.e. CPA, ACCA, CFA, CMA, etc.) is a plus. ● Proficiency in both Arabic and English languages. ● Professional Certificate ( VAT Specialist, Zakat Specialist, etc.) Skills & Competencies ● Financial Accounting ● IFRS, SOCPA, and Saudi Tax regulations ● Management Accounting ● Risk Analysis & Management ● Financial Analysis ● Finance Systems ● Analytical Thinking ● Decision Making ● Interactive Communication ● Managing People ● Partnering and Collaboration ● Performance Management
